  • ”As you know, we were quite pleased with the trip you organized for our students to Philadelphia last spring, and as a result, we have booked two more trips (one to Philadelphia and one to Washington D.C.) for this school year. I am confident that those two trips will again be well-executed and greatly enjoyed by our students and teachers.”

  • "I have worked with Colonial Capital Tours for 2 trips - Washington D.C. and Baltimore, as well as Boston and Salem. The trip activities are varied and dynamic, the staff are very attentive, flexible, and personable and they understand what it is like to tailor a trip for school teachers with any and all student populations. They know how to deftly mix the historical with the experiential the fun with seriousness physical activities with aesthetic appreciations. They work within your budget and try to help you create a memorable, educational trip that you and your students will look back on fondly, and learn from."

  • “Now that things have calmed down a bit around school, we have an opportunity to share with you how enjoyable our trip was. Everything worked out well and timely. The bus was prompt, the driver, Moshe, was great, cooperative and knowledgeable, willing to please. Eli's restaurant was accommodating and pleasant. Mrs. Freeman was patient, understanding, and quite knowledgeable. The illuminated tour was educational as well as enjoyable. The hotel was comfortable and Hillel's breakfast was great and dinner was scrumptious and sumptuous. Thank you again for all your efforts!”

  • “Thank you so much. My daughter, Torri and I had a great time. On the way home I asked her what was the one lesson she would take away from this trip and she said , "that a lot of men gave their lives for us to have the freedom we have today." I told her yes that was a good one but what about a personal one and she immediately mimicked the thought that ran through my mind the whole trip which is, "I can push myself and do a lot even when I'm tired, hungry or super sore." I told her I felt the same way and I'm 43. It is amazing to learn that about yourself so late. A lot of times in my day I won’t do something because it may make me tired the next day. This trip reminded me that life is meant to be lived. We had a wonderful time and I thank you for your leadership and for the great adventure.”

  • “I just returned from our overnight trip to Washington D.C. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the amazing time we had and more specifically about the incredible tour guide my bus had. “Coach” has such amazing passion and love for his job and American History and it was an inspiration to all of us, young and old. I have been on these overnight trips before and I was never as interested in what we were seeing and learning about as I was in the last three days.
In addition to the vast knowledge of places we were visiting and the monuments we were exploring, Coach taught our students about respect, character and chivalry. He taught them to believe in themselves and to plan to do great things in the future. He inspired me to be a better person and made me truly understand the importance of our Veterans. I now have a newfound respect and admiration for those Vets, a respect I should have had for years. Whenever we would pass a Vet, Coach would either have the students clap for them or walk over to them, shake their hands and say, “thank you.” We met at least one Veteran that by the time all 56 of us shook his hand and thanked him, he was in tears, as were a few of us. It was so touching to be a part of this. Later on, as we were leaving the monuments we were visiting, that Vet’s son came over to us and told us we made his father’s day. This is just one example of how Coach made our visit to D.C. an unforgettable one. I cannot put into words how contagious Coach’s enthusiasm was and how lucky we were to experience our visit to D.C. with him. Thank you for coordinating an incredible trip and I look forward to more trips like this in the future.”
